b i o :Serena started getting into photography in eighth grade. Upon entering Greenhill in ninth grade, she enrolled in a photography class and absolutely loved it. She has continued with the art ever since. She prefers photographing people. Live subjects fascinate and excite her. This was discovered while working on her glasses series project during her sophomore year. She took many photos of said live subjects during her trip to Bangladesh, India, and Thailand last year. Much of her portfolio contains work from this experience. Serena also attended a workshop this past summer in "Alternative Photographic Processing" at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and was introduced to an entirely new world of photography. She wants to continue improving and learning about these processes through working with them in the future. She is currently in AP photography and hopes to continue her passion in college.
